Launch of Imam Ali Library & Research Center

Please join us for the official launch of the Imam Ali Library & Research Center in Mahopac, NY. The center is affiliated with HIU’s Imam Ali Chair in Shia Studies and Dialogue among Islamic Schools of Thought. Dr. Hossein Kamaly, holder of that chair, is the center’s Executive Director and chairs its board. 

The launch event will feature remarks from Dr. Kamaly, HIU Academic Dean Deena Grant, HIU Director of Library Services Karla Grafton, and others. Dr. M. Mehdi Kazmi, the driving force behind the project, will host the occasion and provide a tour of the facilities as well as refreshments and music. The library is located at the home of the Auliya Council of North America at 85 Mt. Hope Road, Mahopac, NY.
