Mahmoud Mustafa Ayoub: In Memoriam

Hartford International University for Religion and Peace and Mufid Academic Seminary invite you to a webinar to honor the life and work of Dr. Mahmoud Mustafa Ayoub (1935-2021). The event has been organized by Dr. Hossein Kamaly, Imam Ali Chair in Shia Studies & Dialogue Among Islamic Schools of Thought. Dr. Ayoub was the founder of this chair at HIU.

Dr. Rasoul Naghavi of Georgetown University and Mufid Academic Seminary will moderate a memorial service in honor of Dr. Ayoub, who passed away on Oct. 31. Speakers will include Dr. Ayoub's friends and colleagues from Hartford International University for Religion and Peace (formerly Hartford Seminary), Duke University, Harvard University, Exeter University, George Washington University, and Concordia University.
