On Saturday, March 23rd, the Journal of Interreligious Studies published Issue 41: The Art of Interfaith: A Festschrift in Honor of Lucinda Mosher, who serves the journal as Senior Editor. At 179 pages, it is the JIRS's largest peer-reviewed issue yet, "a testament to how many people wanted to honor Lucinda or sought to write on the theme of interreligious/interfaith studies and the arts," says editor-in-chief Axel Takacs.

Issue 41, guest edited by Hussein Rashid (Assistant Dean of Religion and Public Life at Harvard Divinity School), contains ten articles (among them, essays by Dr. Mosher and her HIU colleague Dr. Timur Yuskaev), three scholarly reflections, six book reviews, and an Afterword by Dr. Mosher.

The Journal of Interreligious Studies is published collaboratively by Hebrew College, Boston University School of Theology, and Hartford International University for Religion and Peace. HIU President Joel Lohr is a publisher and a member of the Board of Advisors.

Dr. Mosher is the director of HIU's Master of Arts in Interreligious Studies program and senior scholar for Continuing and Professional Education. The festschrift was published on her birthday.
