Open House: The Exhibit of Ambassador Andrew Young

Join Hartford International University for Religion and Peace (HIU) for an open house celebrating the life and legacy of Ambassador Andrew J. Young, a distinguished alumnus of what was then Hartford Seminary.

Explore The Many Lives of Andrew Young, a retrospective exhibition chronicling his extraordinary journey as a civil rights leader, diplomat, public servant, and advocate for peace and social justice. Through photographs, memorabilia, and storytelling in Ambassador Young’s own words, the exhibition offers a glimpse into the experiences and accomplishments that have shaped his remarkable life.

We invite members of the community, alumni, friends, and all who are interested in Ambassador Young’s legacy to visit the exhibition, connect with HIU, and reflect on the power of bridge-building and principled leadership to create meaningful change.

Stop by anytime during the open house to view the exhibition.

Light refreshments will be provided.
