The Three Amigos on 'Friendship and Transcendence'

April 18, 2024
from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

A Priest, Rabbi and Imam – Mons. Joseph Donnelly, Rabbi Eric Polokoff and Imam Gazmend Aga – are known in Connecticut as “The Three Amigos.”

The trio have been friends and interfaith partners for years, and first lectured together in 2010. In 2019 a nun dubbed them “The Three Amigos," and the moniker stuck. Their public conversations modeling interreligious understanding have drawn unexpectedly large audiences and critical acclaim both online and at leading area institutions.

They have a weakness for selfies, and seem to be nearing consensus over who is the smart one, the good one and the handsome one.

This event will be livestreamed on Facebook for those who can't attend in person. There is no need to register if you will be watching the livestream. Simply go to this link: https://www.facebook.com/hartfordinternational

This is the first event in the Roberston Spirituality Series. It is the goal of the Robertson Spirituality Series to provide provocative and nourishing presentations to seekers from all backgrounds. We hope to provide speakers who come from all faiths and no faith, who will address spiritualitys intersection with:

  • environmental justice, eco-spirituality, and racial concerns
  • the rich tradition of mystical and contemplative devotion throughout world history
  • thin places
  • concerns of health, beauty, harmony, and mortality.

The series will enrich spirituality in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, lectures, seminars, retreats, book groups, discussions, and trips to sacred places.
