Indonesian Scholar Reflection: Feeling HIU's Warmth

Just call me Mimi, whose full name is Mimi Suhayati. I am a postgraduate student from Ulama Cadre Education (UCE) Great Mosque of Istiqlal in Jakarta.

It is indeed a source of happiness to have the opportunity to come to America, precisely at Hartford International University (HIU), which has a strong focus on religion and peace.

In this context, as a minority Muslim, I have felt the warmth and comfort of being here. The daily practices here prioritize religious tolerance and other values.

One example is the weekly Community Prayer event that involves individuals from different faiths coming together to worship according to their respective beliefs.
