Journal of Interreligious Studies Releases Special Issue

The Journal of Interreligious Studies (JIRS) is pleased to announce the release of Issue 39, a special issue entitled "Beyond Resistance: Building, Making, and Creating Sanctuary." It is guest-edited by Dr. Preeta M. Banerjee (HIU 2022), in collaboration with Sheron Fraser-Burgess, and Anya Phillips Thomas. 

The JIRS is published collaboratively by Hebrew Union College, Boston University School of Theology, and HIU. Dr. Lucinda Mosher, director of HIU’s MA in Interreligious Studies program, is the Senior Editor; HIU President Joel Lohr is a publisher.
