Dr. Sherry Turner Named 12th President of HIUMarch 31, 2025
Hartford International University’s Board of Trustees has selected the Rev. Dr. Sherry Turner as the 12th president of the 191-year-old institution. On July 1, 2025, Dr. Turner will succeed President Joel N. Lohr, who has led HIU since 2018.

Dr. David D. Grafton Sees Another Volume Released in Major Research Project

Grafton has served as a general editor for a large international research project, Christian-Muslim Relations: A Bibliographical History (CMR), that has involved over 1000 different researchers. Imam Amir Durić '19 and His Journey to Interfaith Innovation Fellow

Inspired by his grandfather, who encouraged him to lead prayers and calls to prayer during Ramadan, Chaplain Imam Amir Durić ‘19 felt a calling to religious leadership from a young age. He now serves as the Muslim chaplain and Chaplains Council coordinator at Syracuse University’s Hendricks Chapel.
