Online Registration: Special Students and Auditors

Registration Options

Audit: Students who wish to learn more about a subject but are not seeking academic credit. Audit students may convert from audit to credit, with instructor approval, and proof of a completed bachelor's degree before the last day of class by submitting the following form

Special Student: Students with a bachelor’s degree (or its educational equivalent), who wish to take courses for credit, but have not been admitted or matriculated into a HIU graduate program, may register to take up to two courses as a Special Student. Special Students are required to submit proof of bachelor's degree to the Registrar's Office prior to the start of class.

Billing and Payment:

Special Student Rate (effective July 1, 2026): $3,150 per 3 credit course
Audit - Alumni: $450 per 3 credit course
Audit - Non-Alumni: $600 per 3 credit course

Check or money order to: Hartford International University, Business Office, 77 Sherman Street, Hartford CT 06105 Credit card via Populi; After your registration has been processed you will receive an email with instructions for accessing Populi. There is a 2.85% convenience fee for all credit card transactions.
